  I feel slightly awkward rating a cemetery because this isn't Google Graves or whatever. But as a tourist location (which its marketed to be) it's a pretty nice one, I suppose. The overlook from the far side to the river is gorgeous and the variety of famous people buried within make it an historic trip. If you're into ghosts and legends, you'll get that here too.

  Beautiful cemetery, very well kept, fascinating people buried here. Recommend the walking tour to learn some interesting facts.

  Beautifully landscaped and maintained with easy access by vehicle at your leisure. Wonderful views of the river and the city can be found alongside the James and fantastic pieces of history and memorial across the sprawling lawns edging the City of Richmond. It would be nice to have more readily available access to information regarding the history behind many of the memorials for those who choose to tour at their leisure.
