  River Road Church is an ecumenical church of Baptist heritage. I was raised Presbyterian, and my husband Methodist, and this has been our church home for over 32 years. Our congregation has welcomed individuals from numerous protestant denominations, as well as some who grew up in the Catholic, and even the Jewish faith traditions. RRCB was a great place to raise our daughters, who benefited from the fully accredited nursery school, nurturing Sunday School classes, and an outstanding youth group. I have been a Stephen Minister at RRCB for over sixteen years, which has given me the opportunity to counsel individuals going through difficult life experiences. Likewise, members of my church family helped me through the loss of both my parents, as well as a cancer diagnosis. I have attended many churches over the years, but none have compared to River Road Church.

  Lots of great things happening here: fellowship, serving, seeking, asking big questions. Strong tradition of preaching, beautiful space for worship, fabulous music.

  River Road Church is a unique and special place. RRC is a moderate Baptist church and their services are considered traditional by today's standards. The style of worship was attractive to both my wife and I, she being raised a Baptist and me a Catholic. There are many couples here like us! RRC is known for its music program so if you enjoy the sound of traditional hymns sung by a large choir, handbells and organ music, you'll love River Road Church. There are dozens of mission opportunities for people of all ages and the church has recently created a partnership with an inner-city church. My week isn't complete without time with my River Road Church family.

  My wife and I have been members for most of our married life and all of the life of our children. I enjoy a wonderful Sunday School class with individuals, couples and families that have become close friends. I enjoy the love and support of a caring congregation. I appreciate fun, faith-based programs for my children. I like the ecumenical nature of our formation and worship. I am at peace in our beautiful sanctuary, chapel, and fellowship hall. I am grateful to serve alongside my dear River Road friends.

  My faith has grown significantly as a result of attending this church. I grew up Catholic, and my wife Baptist. We searched around a good bit before we found river road church, baptist. The formal worship felt very familiar to my upbringing. The real impact to my personal faith has been watching my children grow up to know and love the Lord. Two out of three have come to us (so far) and asked to be baptized, and been so excited about it. When your children are eager to come to Sunday school and worship on sundays, consistently, something right solid is happening. In this day and age, that isn't just cool, it is awesome.
