  The guy we talked to, had no compassion what so ever. Other funeral homes don't even worry about payment for 30 days. Some people are not rich, and have to wait for a death certificate to get insurance or a certificate money before they will have enough to pay. But they wanted money halfway through FIRST meeting, and would not work with us. And come to find out, they were over $2000 higher than place we chose.They will NEVER get any business from my family. Had to give 1 star to post this, but should be -5 stars.

  A spouse of a friend passed away a few years ago. The visitation was at Woody Funeral Home on Parham. I thought that it was a beautiful funeral home and I would be impressed by it. I was not. Two of the staff members stood outside of the door where the visitation took place, neither acted as if they wanted to be there, the man leaned up against the wall like he was bored and could not wait to leave. The room where friends and family offered their condolences and viewed the deceased was so small that they was hardly a place for anyone to sit down and visit with the family. I told my family about this situation and told them to never take me to Woody Funeral Home-Parham in the event of my death.

  Terrible service! We were dealing with them from out of town because our loved one has a pre-paid contact with them. The didn't return calls, the obituary didn't list the the date or time of the funeral and there was an online entry that had the wrong date, the service the day of the visitation was terrible--people arriving didn't know where to go. Finally, at the funeral the director didn't give any instruction to the pall bearers. They were waiting outside the church and the casket was brought in by staff. I had to go outside to tell them to come in. They handled my uncle's funeral a could of years ago and it was terrible too.
