  My business with CSV was amazing. Very informative. Very direct. There was no fake saccharine sympathies. No one trying to sell me anything gratuitous. Funeral director Kristan and the rest of the staff was very helpful, succinct, and surprisingly quick in turn around time.
  My only regret is that didn't know about CSV before now.

  Veronica was very professional in handling my niece for my brother. We were from out of town and only had 1 day to take care of the paperwork. She took care of everything for us over the phone that she possibly could. All we had to do was come in, pick out the urn sign the papers and give them a check. They made sure we were comfortable while we were there. I would highly recommend Cremation Society of Virginia. Thanks again Veronica for your professionalism.

  The staff kept blaming va laws on things. I have a friend who works at the board of funeral director and she says what they are doing is pointing fingers and giving wrong information. Asked to speak to manager and no call backs and always out sick. The office manager had no clue where my dad was and blamed the manager. Then a funeral director said he ordered the wrong urn and wouldn't replace it. They would not give me the corporate number. The office manager said it has gone downhill since corporate too over.

  We used them in June 2016 when my father died in the hospital. Everything went as scheduled except they forgot to give us his fingerprints. We used them again 8 months later in February 2017 when my mother died here at my home. They came out within 2 hours (we live an hour away) on a Saturday night. They gave me a card and told me a funeral director would call me Monday. The funeral director called Monday morning. When my brother went to finish arrangements and pay, he wanted to see her since he wasn't able to be here before they picked up her body. They arranged for him to see her in a very nice setting(but charged us $270 for a viewing). They got her paperwork wrong 4 times while my brother was there and kept having to redo it. But they were very friendly and helpful.

  I recently lost both my aunt and uncle and had no idea of what there arrangements were. Found a laminated card from CSV with contact info. I talked to Kristan Sivells and she went above and beyond to take care of their arrangements. Since I was from out of town everything had be done through email, phone and mail. I couldn't have asked for a better person to take care of my aunt and uncle. Truly professional, but more than anything else I knew that she really cared. My family thanks you Kristan!!
