  Do not shop here! The workers are very friendly, but everything is incredibly overpriced and today was my final straw.
  Yesterday I was given a quote on a set of furniture, he told me I had to wait till when I had a truck to purchase and get the discount. Well, I got a truck, I came out, and found out that the guy who promised me that was a volunteer pretending to be a manager. I ended up wasting a lot of my morning trying to get stuff from this place, only to leave finding out that I had been lied to.

  The upside: The store is clean and well-merchandised. The workers are friendly and helpful. There is not a lot of junk on display; most of the merchandise seems to be vetted out before it comes out to the floor.
  The downside: Lately, more than any other thrift store I’ve seen, if they don’t know the value of something, they would rather overprice than underprice it. Couple that with the fact that the store is neatly merchandised, and you get a place where it is hard to find a bargain, and there is not a lot of turnover week to week. I have passed over a dozen items that I would have otherwise bought in the past couple of months due to an unreasonably high price. For example, I recently saw a 35mm camera and lens priced at $89. I have bought and sold a lot of camera equipment, and I know that particular combination goes for less than $75 regularly on E-Bay, often less than $50. Consequently, it sat in the display case for two months. With this kind of pricing and the snail’s pace of new merchandise hitting the floor, I think this place may be off my regular rotation.

  I love shopping here! When I walk in, Pete, the manager always, even when he is super busy, goes out of his way to say hello! He is very professional!
